A sample irrigation part was given to an Uncle’s dog at our family owned manufacturing business (we make the parts that help to water crops like corn). Hi! I’m Kelly. I’m a beach living, dog loving, third-generation entrepreneur and founder of The Pup Puck. With a degree in business management, I have had the opportunity to sell and manage at various levels in both the Retail and Medical sectors. Being an Orange County girl, I followed my heart down south and am now lucky enough to be able to enjoy living the salty San Diego lifestyle. You can often find me making all the fur friends on walks along the coast with my Golden girl Nala. Nala was adopted in late 2019 and instantly became the centerpiece of our sweet little family at the perfect time. Being a first time dog owner (and her third owner) we had to work through some learning curves while getting used to each other. Being in lockdown in early 2020 allowed us the time to do so. Once I went back to work in the office, Nala (and I both) started to develop a serious case of back to work anxiety. She would hardly let me leave, would go on a hunger strike while I was gone and be almost uncontrollably excited upon my arrival back home. To help with her anxiety, we got creative by stuffing a Puck’s center with a treat and then covering with peanut butter on each side then freezing before giving to her. While she still did not love when I left, she was much happier having her Puck to work on in my absence. To ease my back to work anxiety, I eventually quit my job and decided to turn my side-hustle of selling Pucks to a third-party online retailer into the beginning of a fulltime Pup Puck adventure of my own.

We believe in the durability and quality of our chew toy. While The Pup Puck is designed to be tough enough to last longer than many other toys, the material has enough give to be safe for dogs to chew on. With that being said, all dogs chew differently. Some dogs prefer to chew on occasionally while other dogs aim to destroy. It is recommended to monitor your dog while playing with The Pup Puck to ensure proper chewing is taking place. If large excessive chunks are taken off or all lobes are chewed down, it is best to retire and recycle.
